What is the opinion of Reddit about the

I used a steelseries headset for a long time, but eventually moved to a regular pair of headphones Sennheiser HD200s and a standalone mic Samson G Track Pro

I went with those two pieces for no particular reason, but I liked the ability to only pay half when something breaks (only needing to replace headphones / mic) instead of buying a new $150 headset, because I found a lot of the times stuff like retractable mics would just give out over time.
