I’m looking to play wii, gamecube, n64 and gameboy advance titles through a Samsung SSD. But all the resources are telling me to put the games on the sd card I used to put homebrew on. Is there a way to get these games on the SSD playable?

Yes, 64 GB is definitely enough to work with. Procreate files are usually pretty small, as long as your videos are like 4k they should fit well enough, and note-taking apps are also good at shrinking file sizes.

Plus since the new iPad Air has usb-c, you can always connect an external hard drive to it and move any files you need. I use this one along side my iPad Pro 2020, so I assume the same can work for iPad Air.

Here’s what I am using OP, I have a pair of these Samsung SSD’s (one is a backup) and two Y cables .

I am not a fan of externally powered hard drives and my TV is bolted to the wall so cable management and power sockets are tight. The SSDs offer a little more peace of mind than a traditional platter drives that has mechanical moving parts.

I just formatted and hooked up a samsung T7 SSD to my glovebox for sentry mode, but the dashcam icon does not appear.

A little error pops up ui_a111 and tells me that the usb for sentry mode is not plugged into the glovebox so it will draw extra power.

I did my research before buying and this drive should work just fine, any advice?

I have this and it works great.

Prior to this I had a Samsung thumb drive which worked for a little while and then when it got more full it slowed down and stopped working. Naturally after it stopped working a truck backed into me (while I was parked). Sentry mode went off, but I had no video footage.

Looks like I went with the same one but the more updated model. Any good Youtube videos that help explain how to set it up that you like? I watched one earlier and it seemed pretty straight forward.

You will absolutely still be able to play so long as your other specs are up to par. Load times will just be INSANE! The Samsung T7 500gb external SSD is like 30% off (80.00 USD) on Amazon right now, just ordered mine myself. Only got a 1TB HDD right now and playing games like GTA 5 was impossibly frustrating and WoW is getting there too. Even an external SSD will read and write like 3-5x faster than any HDD so long as you have at least USB 3.0. If you have a fast USB type C you can get like 8-10x speed lmao. Will still work on previous USB versions Im just unsure if it increases read/write speeds by that much.
