USB switch. Doesn’t share split signal, it keys you switch signal between which every one you currently want to use.

Example :

yes and no, you wouldn’t be able to access the hard drive from both computers at the same time. its either one or the other, and then you have to use the hub to manually switch it over.

Sommething like this might work. I’m not sure though, I’ve never tried it myself.

As an extra layer I also use one of these. It’s not necessary at all but I plug one in to each system, then the keyboard/mouse receiver in to the switch and I can switch between systems with a button press. I never use it, but if Barrier failed temporarily for whatever reason I could switch systems that way instead of moving the receiver between devices. Mainly useful if the server system isn’t available for any reason(update maybe) but you need to use the client system right now.

AFAIK there is a difference between a hub and a splitter. A splitter usually has dedicated inputs and an output so you have to make sure wiring is correct.
On a hub everything can talkt to everything at the same time so I assume that the devices don’t know what to send where.

I’m from Europe so I don’t know if my device is available, let me check on Amazon. I’ll edit this with a link.

Edit: It seems that in the US they’re being sold as switcher. Here is a link on Amazon:

You need something that has a switch so you can decide which usb connection is made

I’m in the same boat, but just got an A/B USB switcher like this (in fact this exact one — had an issue with a previous switch that caused some static):

Plug in mixamp USB, then one end of the switcher into PC, one end into PS4 — I can switch which one my Astros are connected to with one button press.

I am using the arctis Pro wireless for PC and PS5. In the beginning i was wondering about how to use this setup but after a while i made a pretty decent setup.

I am using the following USB switch:

https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B074TZKGVR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When i switch between PS5 and PC i just hit the switch button and change the output source on the transmitter (isn’t even necessary i think). The only issue i had was that the Artics Pro Wireless needs optical connection to make use of most of the functionalities but my PS5 and montitor don’t have one. I bought a HDMI audio extractor and now every things is working like it did on PS4 🙂

The extractor i have:

https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B07K5SGLHZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The sound is superb and they are comfortable. The only issue i’m worried about is the durability of the earcup since i saw alot of post from people about this issue. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

No, can not use splitter. You need a usb switch box such as: https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Computers-Peripherals-Indicators-USB-SW20/dp/B074TZKGVR/

If it’s only the solo you care about sharing, save some coin and just get a simple AB USB switch
