So there are these things called nitrogen generators which pull pure nitro from the atmosphere. They’re fairly expensive (and loud) and I doubt you want to invest in one for home use.

If you’re trying to do nitro coffee and other not actually carbonated bevs (like wine) then getting straight nitro tanks will be your best option for home usage. Using a simple hand pump will use atmosphere to pressurize your keg which will not work in the same way as pure nitro. Oxygen is generally a stailer for everything and not just beer so the shelf life of your beverages will be basically zero. Also nitrogen doesn’t readily diffuse into liquids which is why its used for dispensing gas where carbonations isn’t required. Co2 and oxygen does.

Something like this would be your cheapest entry point to doing cold brew coffee. Those 12g cylinders are super wasteful and expensive to use for dispensing gas though. If you already have a kegerator then you can get a separate nitro tank and regulator and get the proper faucet for your beverage.

At least for cold brew coffee you want to use straight nitrogen. Co2 makes coffee taste far too acidic.
