Fascinating, thank you so much for all your tips, especially making it understandable to a newbie.
Let us know how it goes with the pi/4G as I’m very interested in that too, as is my workplace!
Re: DC power supplies do you mean something like this?
Yes I can solder reasonably enough (though not an expert). I’m tempted by the pixhawk as I like the ardupilot/mission planner software and I hear pixhawk is made for it.
