Hi all, I’m looking for a keyboard. This is what I need from it:

-Tactile Brown XM Switches

-Backlight

-At least 80%

-Can at least purchase it immediately.

-$120 max

-Preferred: Those nice rubber pads to set your wrists on

This keyboard seems to be the best fit for me but I wanna know if there’s something better I can get for that money. Thanks in advance.

121 (black color way) with either Brown or Red is on sale as well.

It has been as low as $90 before on Amazon and Target

ROCCAT Vulcan 121 Aimo RGB is cheaper. The colors are endlessly entertaining and intelligent.

Anyone use this keybaord ?
Is the swarm software required? will multimedia controls (volume, pause, forward, mute, etc.) work without any software installed?

The Roccat Vulcan 121 Aimo is currently on sale for $119 USD on Amazon. That should be $179 AUD. I don’t know if the sale applies to your location. According to CamelCamelCamel, the sale repeats on the second half of every single month. Check it out: https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07QGLQ6MS

As far as visual style is concerned, it’s one of my favorite keyboards of all time. Here’s a link to the actual Amazon listing: https://www.amazon.com/Vulcan-Aimo-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B07QGLQ6MS/

By the way, since you mentioned “comfortable wrist rest”, I’ll give you a tip: make sure you are keeping your wrists straight. If you are bending your wrists up or down in order to come into contact with the wrist rest, it probably means that your chair is too short or too tall. This video does a great job of explaining the correct height for your chair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8_ME4VwTiw
