RK just started updating their boards and they now come with a hot swappable PCB for 3 pin/5 pin mx switches. I just got mine a week ago so I can confirm it does have hot swap. Got it off Amazon. So far I love it and have no issues so far. It comes with Bluetooth as well but I prefer wired but it is still a cool feature to have around just for the occasion. The stabs and switches are also prelubed which feels nice but could be better which is expected with factory lube. The stock switches feel pretty good as well. Btw I got the red switches since I lean more towards linear for the smoothness. Newer model also updates the battery for Bluetooth with an 8 hour battery life and the USB-C port is now located at the top left of the keyboard instead of the top middle which is nice? I guess it looks better now with coiled cables with a more centered look. My only gripe would be the position of the arrow keys but that’s to be expected with 60% keybaords so it isn’t a huge problem but overall I highly recommend the keyboard. With better switches, keycaps, and some mods here or there this can achieve the same sound and feel as most other high or mid tier keyboard. Here is the link of where I bought mine. Hope this helped.

Check out the rk61 on Amazon. It’s been great for me. Cheap with a choice of switches as well. >$60
>great performance
Not sure if you can really get that in the mechanical keyboard world, but I’ll throw my suggestion out here.
·
It’s not that expensive but it has Bluetooth and good reviews this is where I’m buying it from

I have both RK61 and Redragon K617 fizz and struggling to decide which one to keep. Here are my 2 cents on comparing both. Only had both for less than a day and my first 60% from TKL so keep that in mind.
RK61 Pros:
- 3/5 pins hot-swap. Easier to swap.
- 2.4 wireless and Bluetooth
- Fn+Y for PrintScreen
- Fn arrow key location
- A lot of key combo functions.
RK61 Cons:
- Stabs feel worse and rattles more. I tried swapping the stabs from the fizz to the rk6, but no shot.
- RGB is clearly brighter on the fizz.
- Keycaps. The key caps on the fizz are great and nice color scheme than just all white. But that’s a personal preference.
- A LOT of key combo functions. Sometimes, I accidentally press them and it would disable keys or fn lock. Would just need to reset (Hold Fn+Spacebar)
- Software. Had to dig around to find it.
- Can’t Printscreen + window key due to fn + window combo.
- No adjustable height.
K617 Fizz Pros:
- 3 pins hot-swap (outemus).
- Keycaps.
- Basic keyboard or simple to use.
- Bright RGB and easy onboard RGB settings.
- Software.
- Very light.
- Adjustable height.
K617 Fizz Cons:
- 3 pins hot-swap (outemus). Limited to 3 pins and very hard to remove switches compared to the RK61. I’ve damaged a couple of switches trying to pull them on a similar board (K552).
- Wired only.
- Hollow and I believe all plastic.
- No PrintScreen key / can’t Printscreen + window key
- About the same price as the RK61.
I might have missed a couple or more pointers, but I hope this helps you guys and or decide on what to get. I’m leaning towards the RK61. It’s more complicated but better offers more than the K617 Fizz.
FYI. The print screen + window issue can be fixed by running a script with Autohotkey.

If you really care about latency, plug the keyboard in.
If you absolutely must have 2.4GHz wireless (not BT) then Royal Kludge makes some keebs.

I have no experience with the wireless, but I own a wired RK68 and it’s… adequate. I did a lot of work to make it sound and feel good (video).

I would look at the ducky keyboards. You have switch options. Built quality is so much better.

Glorious is hotswappable.

Rk Royal if you want something super budget.

60% (Red Switch) or TKL (Blue Switch)
In general:
Gateron/Cherry Red = Linear (no bump)
Gateron/Cherry Blue = Audible click + Tactile bump
Gateron/Cherry Brown = Tactile bump
I’m sure that these boards that I linked have different switches available.
