I bought from the amazon renewed store. I read reviews that stated they were receiving new speakers, so I gave it a shot. $350 total and the speakers were brand new. They’re going for $450 now.

Right now they’re $399 renewed – in my experience, they’re basically just open-box with a 90-day no questions asked return. This has happened fairly regularly though. I’ve heard great things about some of the other speakers suggested here as well. I have a pair of older Wharfdale Diamonds that I loved. I personally just preferred the 600ms over the rest.

Virtually any amp will drive Klipsch speakers as loud as you’ll ever need them to be. Since you don’t have anything but the turntable, I’d suggest getting an amp with a phono stage built in, and spending more on the speakers. Those are pretty low on the Klipsch totem pole. If you want to stay with klipsch these are much nicer.
