If you plan on breaking into VR, I would say just change the 1080 to a 1080 TI especially since it’s newer and is only 140 dollars more than the 1080 and is 20% faster based off the reviews I’ve been reading. It sounds like your really going to get into it too so the 1080 TI makes more sense in my opinion. but for the games you listed at 1080p the 1080 or 1080 TI is just going to have REALLY good performance. For keyboards I personally use a razer deathstalker, cheaper one that is 70 on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathStalker-Expert-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B009SJR28W. Monitors i do not know too much about. Fellow Wow player as well or used to be, I used that keyboard and was able to DPS well and slide my fingers to each key easily.

Razer Deathstalker is one of the few gaming oriented chiclet keyboards I know of
There’s a couple manufacturers that are making mechanical switch chiclet style boards, but AFAIK they’re not on the market just yet.

I purchased the Razer Deathstalker for my wife last week for around $40 on sale. I don’t mind the keys, they take a little more force to press than my cherry browns, but require much less distance to activate. The unlit one is still “inexpensive” ($36) but the reviews are saying it’s difficult to read the keys because the font is so light. She is in love with her Macbook Pro keyboard, so I figure this will work out well for her on her gaming PC (she hasn’t tried it yet, just got it).

Hmm, maybe that’s the cause, aside from the keyboard on a laptop this is the only one I’ve used for years (except the occasional time I spent after a public computer or a computer of a friend).
Anyways, it is the Razer Deathstalker. I have it for about three years now I think and it still works like a charm. It also has some extra config options but I’ve never used them.

Okay so it’s
I don’t think it’s mechanical, but it’s pretty damn close to one. I was mistaken…

The Razer Deathstalker Expert
Nice keyboard, just would personally prefer a mechanical.

The Razor Deathstalker Expert is only $60, you’ll spend more than that on parts to do what you want. In fact, that’s what I’m typing on now! Besides, with this type of keyboard, the letters won’t wear off, because they are not painted on, like cheaper keyboards. And that’s why I got this keyboard in the first place: my cheap keyboard letters would wear off every 4-5 months.

I specifically have this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009SJR28W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_M.lEzbPTZT8ZF
I can’t speak to the RGB but I’ve never had an issue with this keyboard making any noise.

This here be what you’re looking for.

The Razer Deathstalker is, from what I’ve seen, a pretty decent chiclet keyboard. However, it is a little overpriced for your budget.
Cooler master also has the Devastator II keyboard which as always received raving reviews especially for its price and lack of mechanical switches.
To be quite honest I’m not sure of many great membrane keyboards in your price range that stick out. However, you could go a little more expensive and try and pick up a Topre board. From what I’ve seen on /r/MechanicalKeyboards it’s almost a hybrid switch of sorts. At the end of the day though it’s up to your personal preference and budget. I however would personally suggest putting a little more money in on a highly reviewed keyboard that will last me for a while.

A keyboard with keys like a laptop (they’re called chiclet keys btw) and has backlighting too. Plus the great build quality of Razer: Razer DeathStalker
