Razor BlackWidow Ultimate 2014
It’s survived a bunch of LAN parties and the cat puking on it when she was mad it got more attention than her, so I’d say it’s pretty durable. Clicky switches feel nice too.

Here’s the keyboard I use. I has macro keys on it as well. I’ve just never taken the time to learn how to set them up.

First off, good luck selling Razer on this forum. Secondly, I hope your currency is in CAD because you can get on on Amazon.com for around the same, albeit new
·
I second the suggestion of razer blackwidow
The ultimate version is what I have and its incredibly good.
The ultimate version is around $120 dollars I believe

I bought it a few years ago when Razer did a 50% sale, so I bought that and a mouse. Razer uses their own kind of switches colored green.

Have you thought about going wireless? If not then something like this might be an option http://www.amazon.com/Razer-BlackWidow-Ultimate-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B00IG3GPTS

I’ve never bought a mechanical keyboard before, but I’ve been subbed here for awhile now. I’m looking to purchase my first one and I am debating between this Razer BlackWidow Ultimate and this CM Storm QuickFire TK. I wanted to keep my budget around $100 and I will be mostly using it for gaming, which one would be best?

Is it like this one?

> bit pricey
$110 isn’t really that pricey for a fullsized board with backlight and macro keys.
·
> Just curious as to why things are more expensive as “tournament” level but have less buttons/features?
Razer BlackWidow 2014 $92.24
Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition 2014 $71.14
109 keys on the full size and 87 on the tournament
87/109 = ~80% (0.7981651376146789)
$92.24 * 0.7981651376146789 = $73
That is pretty damn proportionate in terms of price/keys.
