The Razer keyboards are not overpriced. For $90 the razer blackwidow is an amazing keyboard. Its incredibly comfortable, the key presses are super nice, and its lasted me over a year already. No damage so far. I managed to bring it back from the grave after spilling a beer on it accidentally. Its a durable keyboard!!

Oh, it’s just a Razer Blackwidow TKL Chroma with their PBT keycaps. Nothing special. Here is a link:

Silent prebuilt mechanicals in that price range are kinda hard to find, from what I’ve seen. They’re not hugely in demand.

A quick search indicates you’re more likely to spend at least $100 for a decent, silent mechanical prebuilt.

It looks like Razer makes some that are closer to your price range, but I can’t speak to their quality.

Here’s one example: https://www.amazon.com/Razer-BlackWidow-Tournament-Chroma-Tenkeyless/dp/B07BB52HZV/ref=psdc_402051011_t3_B07JGDDWDN?th=1

I ended up just building my own silent build and it cost WAY more than what most people think is reasonable (probably $300), but it is SILENT. Like… my wife can’t tell I’m typing in the same room.

Building custom keyboards is a can of (expensive) worms, though.

If you’re willing to splurge, you can probably find a decent Ducky silent board for $100 or so. Here’s a list of what should be pretty decent Silent Cherry MX Red prebuilts, but they’re all basically double your price range: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=476

Their newer opto-electric switches are like Bloody’s switches, but I don’t know who currently makes their actual mechanical switches, my best guess from hearsay is Kailh.

The Wooting One has the analog functionality and highest actuation and is around $140 right now, the Blackwidow TE (mechanical linears) has a detachable Micro USB and a wrist rest, and dropped just to $90 recently meanwhile the Huntsman TE (opto-electric linears) is about $110, and includes a USB-C passthrough, the most minimal design and PBT keycaps.

The Huntsman TE would be the best game-wise which is his main goal, but I’d reckon the $90 option is also pretty nice for what you’re getting.
