Suspicions confirmed. Magni 3 was actually going to be my next amp, forgot what it looked like though.

Personally, I have an older Corsair Vengeance K70 board. Red LEDs with Cherry MX blue switches (noisy and you feel the click, brown would be the quiet version of that, red would be the quiet and non-clicky version).

Personally, I’ve been looking at the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 (it is a mouthful, I know). It is relatively pricey though but I am after a smaller, tenkeyless keyboard and a wrist pad. This has both.

If the full-size suites you well then I recommend any of the Corsair mechanical boards. You can find all of them on Amazon for less than $99 and they have Prime shipping and free returns for thirty days. I am fairly certain that any RGB boards will have software where you can set the color to something specific (or turn them off) and have it stay that way.

Besides those, the Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L or the MasterKeys S (for tenkeyless) I have heard nothing but good things about.

I just bought a Razer Blackwidow TE Chroma V2 TKL (This Keyboard) and find it kind of disappointing. It’s okay, types fine I do suppose but despite being a TKL it seems kind of…big? I used to have a cheap low profile Logitech keyboard, which I found quite a bit more comfortable to type on than this. Thought I have only had it for 2 days so maybe I just need to get used to it?

I bought this one cause it was on sale for BF and comes with a nice looking wrist wrest, but I never felt like I needed one on my old low profile keyboard.

Anyway, do you think I would be better off with this keyboard?

its not a tournament x, but its just a regular chroma blackwidow. looks like this. Im pretty sure thts a non standard bottom row :). Razer might not have the best build quality and keycaps, but im sure their RGB features are ranked almost as high as i would rank Ducky and IKBC

I searched Amazon and found the Razer Blackwidow Chroma TE (Tenkeyless) on sale for $69.99. If you can shell out a few more dollars this keyboard isn’t a bad option.

No I clicked add to cart from the product page https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075LT1NS1

I assumed it would be sold by Amazon but it ended up being fulfilled by a reseller.

There is also the Razer TKL with green switches (aka brown) for the same price ($100). I don’t know much about keyboards… hoping someone can chime in.

Prime day help a newbie!

Hello everyone!

It is Amazon Prime day today and tomorrow, and there are a fair amount of mechanical keyboards that look to be on sale.

I am not keyboard-obsessed, brand-focused, brand-avoiding, or anything in particular. I built my PC in January and really cut back costs on the peripherals, leading to a $25 Redragon keyboard.

Long story short, I am tired of my left hand feeling like death after an hour of games. I don’t need anything that will blow my mind, but due to COVID my ability to go test keyboards is gone. Basically, I just want something with quick, smooth, painless response.

I have the below in my cart, if there are any that I must avoid or that look like a great deal, I would appreciate any input. Again, I do not necessarily care about brand/software/etc. I just want a satisfying and comfortable clicking experience. Budget $30-$100

1) Razer BlackWidow TE Chroma v2 TKL Tenkeyless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: Orange Key Switches, Tactile & Silent, Chroma RGB Lighting, Magnetic Wrist Rest, Programmable Macros, Classic Black

2) Razer Huntsman Gaming Keyboard: Fastest Keyboard Switches Ever – Clicky Optical Switches – Customizable Chroma RGB Lighting – Programmable Macro Functionality – Classic Black

3) FENIFOX Mechanical Keyboard,Wired RGB Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue Switch Rainbow LED Ergonomic with Wrist Rest for Windows PC Gamer PS4 Xbox one

Open to any other suggestions.

Thanks everyone!!!

Off the top of my head, Keychron seems to be gaining in popularity as a cheap mechanical keyboard with notable features.

Otherwise, the Blackwidow TE by Razer is $70 over at Amazon and they have their own versions of brown and red (orange and yellow).

If you’re interested in the Keychron, let me know – I think there is a 10% off coupon.

Good luck!
