So something like this (I just grabbed the first thing from amazon)? Would a typical sunburn medication also help?

I’ve heard good things about this serum and it’s pretty affordable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VNXQE94/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=DFYJ9AVFBYXM&coliid=I3NAAM3QT0SR7C
That said, be aware that the packaging isn’t the best. Vitamin C eventually breaks down in the presence of both light and air, so you’ll want to keep it in a dark cabinet and re-close the bottle as soon as possible after each use. If you can find a serum that has an opaque bottle with a pump, that will be way better for extending its shelf life.

Been using this Radha one.

Is there a specific way I should be using it? i’ve just used a cleanser first. then dry my face and put vit. c.

Hi, just wondering how much vitamin c serum should I use, like how many drops off the dropper for the entire face. Also should I only use it at night every night?

I read a lot about vitamin c oxidation in this reddit. I am have using this vitamin C serum from amazon for a few months. It hasn’t oxidized at all. The color is pretty much the same as I remember it brand new. Does that mean it is not as effective? Thank you !

I use one that I got from amazon I’ll link it here. They recently changed their recipe so it is a milky yellow texture.

I just picked a random one with good reviews and prime shipping on Amazon based on this post

I use

I found mine on Amazon – Radha Beauty Vitamin C Serum . I’m almost finished with the first bottle I purchased last year and plan on repurchasing again.

Vitamin C serum:
And retinol cream:
And like I said, buy any brand you like as long as it has similar concentrations of the key components. If you post a specific product on reddit, all the pitchforks come out because people think you’re being a shill. This is what I use. Take it or leave it.
I already see my previous post getting downmodded so it looks like I was right.
I have dark circles around my eyes and fairly bad skin. I tried everything including lots of expensive facials, some of which also caused damage. I also tried the expensive under eye creams which are ridiculously expensive and come in absolutely tiny tubes. This worked for me and I am happy with it. YMMV

My vitamin c serum has hyaluronic acid in it

Hello /r/skincareaddiction, y’all have changed my life 🙂 May I have some eyes on my current routine to see if I am doing anything wrong or if there is anything I should change up?
Morning
- Wash with water
- Radha Vitamin C serum
- Cerave Moisturizing Cream in tub
Night
- Massage with blend of mineral oil & rosehip oil
- Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
- Radha Vitamin C serum
- Wait 10-15 minutes
- Alternating days between different chemical exfoliants: Stridex (BHA), Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Formula (AHA), Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream (retinol)
- Wait 30 minutes
- Cerave Moisturizing Cream in tub
Once a month or less I do one of the below masks
- Bentonite clay mask mixed with ACV, raw honey, turmeric
- The Saem Pure Natural Snail Brightening Sheet Mask
- Nature Republic Snail Solution Mask Sheet
When I go outside I use
- LOreal Sublime Sun Liquid Silk Lotion SPF 50 on face
- Neutrogena Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 70 on body
Occasionally if I feel like it, I will
- Wash my face in the shower with raw honey
- Moisturize with rosehip oil rather than Cerave Moisturizing Cream
I used to have very oily skin, but it changed to combo/dry when I moved to San Francisco. Since I started the above routine (about 6 months now), my skin really has been better than ever, especially if I don’t get lazy and skip days.
My main lingering concern is uneven texture, which I thought the alternating chemical exfoliants would solve (they certainly have improved my skin texture so far, but not 100%). I am planning on changing my OCM mineral oil from the IKEA brand to something else, since there was that post earlier this week about how the IKEA mineral oil may have additives!
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give 🙂
