I absolutely love the book Quick Strength for Runners.
Workouts are 2x per week and roughly 20 min (I find they are closer to 30 in the later weeks). Everything is body weight or uses equipment that is easy to find and store in your house.

Someone had recommended this book

While it is more body weight training it’s a great start to supplement or work into a weight lifting program.

I take the workouts and I kind of reformat them. I break them up into segments and repeat the sets several times on a loop depending on how it is. I’ll change the weights I use in the set medium, heavy, light with reps. But the movement in there themselves are great for supplementing a runner’s workout

Use this book to help loosen your IT band and strengthen your joints.

Look up Marathon training programs. The basics though is three runs a week. One long run, one short run and one medium run.
