I like this Pure Enrichment humidifier a lot.
Pros:
– pretty quiet
– compact compared to some, and appropriate size tank for a bedroom overnight
– easy to clean: no crannies that you can’t muscle your way to w some ingenuity and some paper towels/ q tips. Though I usually just soak the basin/well and fiddly bits in distilled vinegar once a week.
– easy to fill and dump bc the cord detaches from the base of the humidifier
Cons:
– there are only 2 humidity settings, so customization is limited
– there is a bit of a blue glow from the button that I find irritating. I usually just flip it away from me, but ymmv depending on your light tolerance

Just get a humidifier like you would for your house. You don’t need to run it all the time, or at least I don’t. I run it later in the day and throughout the night to simulate their environment as they need it drier during the day and up to 100% at night. Pretty sure you can find em for like $25-30 at Walmart or on amazonthis is the one I use but there’s a bunch of lower priced ones. Just set it next to the gecks tank and you should be just fine. If you don’t wanna buy that, then I’d just mist 2 times a day, once at morning once at night, and again you should be fine if you’re using substrate it should hold humidity pretty well.

I used to use this humidifier. The only reason was because I already had it around the house. I had to group the plants kind of close since the vapor stream was kind of small, but since I didn’t have a ton of plants, it worked for me. My calathea zebrina was totally fine using this, so if you’re looking for a more budget-palatable option, might be worth taking a look at!

I got this one . It has a ton of reviews and, even tho I try to avoid Amazon whenever possible, I couldn’t think of anywhere else to buy one. I hope my plants like it, but I really hope my dry nose likes it lol

This kind of design is my favorite, it seems the ‘cleanest’ to me since filters can grow mold (and need to be replaced) and anything warm and wet can also grow bacteria/mold.

I got this one for my bedroom and love it. High/low modes, w/wo light, quiet, easy to clean. Lasts 24hrs on low, 16ish on high.

It has a nightlight feature you can choose to use and I like that the mist is visible so I know it’s working. And it’s super easy to clean. Our last one had the filter you needed to replace and it was such a hassle.

We actually have 4; 2 of these which do almost nothing and 2 of these which are helpful but don’t make a huge contribution when it’s super dry. We keep those running around the clock in the winter. When our hygrometer (recommended) dips below 30%, we boil a pot of water on our stove until it hits a comfortable range.
Also, keep in mind that your windows have to stay closed or it’s pointless. We often have to choose between warm and dry or hot and humid, since we don’t control our heat.
