I found this one on a great spreadsheet someone made here on AB where they’d gone through the ingredients of a ton of vit Cs available on amazon! The smell of this one is pretty wretched, but you definitely get used to it. And for that price, it’s well worth the smell. And for Galactomyces, I use the CosRX whitening one.

Alright so here’s the deal if you’re having a hard time with shaving. You need to exfoliate and moisturize BEFORE shaving. Your skin is freaking out from the damage. Try to even get it in a day before. Epilating is fucking torture. There’s a reason it’s not very popular.

For the scarring, try a serum with vitamin C and all the other face shit like this: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00KMCEA4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It’ll take a few months but mine faded a lot using it. Or it was the hormones. I dunno.

For your face shaving, I use a safety razor so I can have a brand new blade every time. Dull blades kill your skin and safety razors are cheap. Steep learning curve there though. Same rules apply, exfoliate before you shave, you’ll notice the difference. Try using a hot cloth on your skin to warm it up and soften the hairs before you start shaving.

For coverup, try using a salmon tinted coverup https://www.amazon.ca/Girl-Pro-Conceal-Concealer-Corrector/dp/B00VKKIXD0/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-rsf-ajax1_0?crid=2FP2XTHW04MY7&cv_ct_cx=la+girl+pro+concealer&dchild=1&keywords=la+girl+pro+concealer&pd_rd_i=B00VKKIXD0&pd_rd_r=3b1e46b1-3358-49f7-a2d7-f0ab700b6a21&pd_rd_w=65c8S&pd_rd_wg=4YXhp&pf_rd_p=37ac64b1-1ff6-4d4c-9fea-c9770bd17c79&pf_rd_r=NANNM6KQJN24CJQTHXCG&psc=1&qid=1613245274&s=beauty&sprefix=la+girl+%2Cbeauty%2C170&sr=1-1-e30f047d-8e3c-4340-8179-6a77ce88d756

For the foundation, go to a beauty store and get them to scan you. They have a device that tells you exactly what shade you need. Getting the right warmth or coolness makes a huge difference. I have olive skin so everything makes me look orange.

Focus on your skincare routine and you’ll need less makeup overall. Exfoliate, moisturize, sunscreen. I like to use a hair oil like biosilk on my face before I go to bed. Wake up feeling all soft. Keep researching, you’ll get there! These things take a long time to get right, be patient with yourself 🙂

Too much charcoal strips your face of natural oils which makes you produce more oil. I would probably suggest one of the naked cleansers, perhaps Tea Totaler? It’s greasy when it goes on but then you take a hot wet wash cloth and wash it off. I also recommend using a vitamin c/retinol serum as a follow up. I got one on amazon in a little glass jar with a dropper for 9 USD.

You can also check out some face masks! Just to Clarify has been a godsend for me. I have oily spots and this just makes them vanish!

I know what you mean about some of the handcreams feeling rather oily. The best thing to do there is use a body butter and then dry your hands of the excess oil (I do this with my Naked Charity Pot or Scrubee). If it still get’s pretty bad, I used to use this Eucerin lotion when I was really dry in the hands and it’s very hydrating but not oily. I only hesitate to use or recommend it because it comes in a plastic container. Even if the oiliness of some naked lotions bother me, I’m making a personal goal to waste less plastic.

Good luck!

I have a dark under eye and depend on makup a bit since I’m a female and hydration (drinking more water) and massaging my under eye when I put on my face creams.

I use Magical Moringa face cream from Lush (I’m combination skin as well so it might do well for you) and I’ve seen an improvement in my break outs and shiny spots. I also use Pura D’or professionals 20% vitamin C serum from amazon. It’s helped with hydration and tone.

My husband uses Kalamazoo from Lush as well as a cleanser. His skin is like mine but a bit more oily and he’s using the other stuff I mentioned and doing better since, less acne. He uses a safely razer on his face now and sees less mad poora and ingrown face hair due to it. Their better for the environment too. I’ll add links to stuff I mentioned. I don’t like to buy supper expensive stuff and I use cruelty free products. I hate small packaging so all of these are bigger quantities except the face cream. Hope this helps.
