Very new to this, I’m wondering how dac/amp setups interface with a 2.1 setup.

I’m looking into purchasing this 2.1 setup. The speakers are passive; the subwoofer is active. I would then run a USB into a DAC.

But where do I go from there? it seems like most amps are 2.0, meaning they would only provide output for each of the speakers, and not for the subwoofer. Which I guess makes sense, since the subwoofer in the above setup is active. So then do I need to split the signal into 4 signals, bass left and bass right, treble left and treble right? Just feeling a bit confused.

EDIT: Okay, I think I should rephrase the question. The issue I’m having is that the sub doesn’t need an amp but the speakers do. So using a 2.1 amp would be overkill, since it’d be amping the sub twice, but if I use a 2.0amp, I don’t know where I’m supposed to get the bass signal from.
