if you spit out the over the counter mouthguard in your sleep you will most likely spit out the expensive one. Only difference is your dentist gets $680 of your money.

meditation/sleep rituals before bed to relax you before sleep
daily exercise – even just a 30 minute walk reduces stress which might help with your grinding
the dentist I work for used to do night guards but stopped doing them when he realized his patients had the same results with over the counter bite guards and most of them couldn’t keep them in at night anyways
