I use an electric beard trimmer on my asshole, like this one. Keep the gaurd on, but put it on its lowest setting. That keeps the blades away from the tender flesh folds at the mouth of your starfish, but allows you to trim it pretty short.
It works great. Most of the horror stories you will hear are exaggerated urban legends. If it gets a little itchy, I put some baby powder on it for a day. I’ve never had anything more than minor discomfort, though. And that goes away within 48 hours. Though, it’s true that your farts can be louder if you’re not careful.
It’s seriously fantastic having a nicely trimmed, clean, smooth asshole. Highly recommended!
