If my hair is very overgrown and I haven’t shaved in a while, I use electric clippers with a guard, so that I don’t cut myself, just to reduce the amount of hair. Then I get in the shower and carefully use a razor. It can be itchy the first couple times you try it but after that you get used to it and it’s not uncomfortable at all. A bit time-consuming but that’s all. It actually feels nice to be so smooth after.
I have the philips norelco gostyler which is intended for facial hair but works well enough for me. Start with the place with the most hair, like the mound/bush, reduce that down, then carefully spread your labia and focus on one side, then the other. Then touch up any spots you want to.

Do NOT use scissors.
Pro tip: Beard trimmer, set it on the lowest/shortest setting. It’ll be just short enough to make your cock look bigger, but long enough to lay down flat, and not be prickly.
