For the past several years, I’ve been using the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 7100. Use oil before shaving, and lotion after shaving – ball shaving is basically the same as face shaving.

It would be extremely difficult to hurt yourself with this thing. I have had only one minor cut in the years that I’ve had it, and that was from shaving too quickly.

Sometimes it’s just depending on your hair and skin type, I finally got this, find a newer or better one:
