No worries. The short version of that product link is just:

https://www.amazon.com/X2HR-Headphone-Attachable-Microphone-Headphones/dp/B08L8DD2MW/

Everything after that are identifiers to track everything you do. Everything from what you searched for, what browser etc…

Amazon.to links have another added identifier that links to originator so they get a commission from sales through that particular link.

I sent my Pulse 3D’s back after one day. Extremely uncomfortable, it pinches your ears, feels like it’s made with really cheap plastic and is very flimsy, the microphone quality is garbage, and the sound is disappointing. I guess if you’re coming from a $30 pair, this $100 pair might sound better. I would recommend getting a real pair of headphones over a gaming headset — you usually end up paying most of the money for the brand and the shitty microphone.

I’d recommend getting something that’s a little bit more if you can budget for an extra $25~$50 or so. I have the Phillips Fidelio X2/HRs which are the most comfortable pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. Incredible sound quality, open back, wide soundstage, natural sound, these particular ones come with an addon mic with a volume dial and mute toggle. Or you could buy the headphones alone for cheaper — I’ve seen them as low as $125. I paid $325 for them new so even at $150 to $160 it’s a fantastic deal for the quality. Good luck with whatever you buy though, I hope you enjoy it.

I was so excited to finally get the Pulse 3D after months of looking, and then when I finally got them, I returned them the very next day… way too tight on the ears, and was uncomfortable after only a few minutes. I don’t even have a big head or large ears.

I do heavily recommend the Phillips Fidelio X2/HR though… most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn by a long shot. They have a ski goggle band style that doesn’t grip too tightly but also doesn’t slip off. It could slide over a watermelon if you wanted, and fits easily over the PSVR as well. Fantastic open back soundstage and 50mm drivers and rated for HiRes audio, doesn’t get hot on the ears. They’re $150ish now (I paid twice that) as there’s a newer model. The link has some for $158 that have a bundled in microphone too.

I was so happy to find a pair and then returned them the next day due to how much they pinch your head, making my ear hurt after about 20 minutes.

Can’t recommend enough that you guys check out the Phillips Fidelio X2/HR’s (an excellent pair of open back headphones with a wide soundstage, big 50mm drivers and comfy velour cups). You can use em for movies, music, and games and all three sound good with them. And then you can swap out the headphone cable with a V-MODA Boom Pro mic (or an Antlion) which gives you a mute switch, volume dial, and boom mic that will be better quality and sound than most shitty mics packed in with gamer headsets.

I paid $325 for the X2/HRs just two years ago, and I saw a deal today for them with a mic packed in for $139 which is cheap as hell. Also, they use a ski goggle style grip so they never pinch or slip, and you can have a watermelon sized head or comfortably slip them over your PSVR headset with no issue. Most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn, and I can’t recommend them enough. Also, you don’t need any special amp/DAC to power them — either your Playstation or XBOX controller does the trick. Oh and they’re from Amazon so you can buy em, try em, and send em back if they’re not for you.

It’s $10 over, but you really can’t get a better headset than this for less than like $300.

MH751/MH752 if you need closed back, otherwise X2HR with this combo for a mic, or a separate V-MODA BoomPro which might be better (I only have the latter, can’t speak to the one included in the bundle).

Sorry about that, I didn’t know what an amazon.to link was. I got it directly from amazon.com,

https://www.amazon.com/X2HR-Headphone-Attachable-Microphone-Headphones/dp/B08L8DD2MW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3N718JC3CDULW&keywords=philips+fidelio+x2hr&qid=1642886263&s=electronics&sprefix=philips+fidelio+x2%2Celectronics%2C46&sr…

And because it was so long, I shortened it with bit.ly. Thanks for letting me know, I won’t use bit.ly again. So is the .to where the .com would be, so I know in the future? I don’t see it in the link I used. (Maybe it was just auto-removed for bit.ly). Or is it because it says “sponsored” on amazon itself? Genuinely sorry to take up your time, I know you guys are busy. I just want to make sure I know what to look for so it doesn’t happen again. Thanks! https://i.imgur.com/p4vLOmm.jpg

For open-back I can vouch for the X2HR. Since it doesn’t come with a mic you’d need either something like this bundle (I don’t have experience with that mic) or the a V-MODA BoomPro.

I’ve got the Phillips Fidelio X2/HRs and absolutely recommend them (they’re wired, 50mm drivers, open back and $159 on Amazon right now with a V-Moda style boom mic included, or $148 without it). I paid $325 for mine maybe two years ago? So that’s a great deal.

With gamer headsets, you usually throw money away either on the brand name or the shitty mic. With these, you get an excellent pair of headphones that are equally great for movies, tv, music, and gaming. They have a fantastic ski-goggle band design that makes them comfortable enough to wear for long periods with no slipping or pinching, and you can stretch them over a VR headset easily. If you have a big watermelon for a head or a regular/narrow one, these are perfect for you haha. The controller of the XSX/PS5 is plenty sufficient to drive them so no DAC/amp necessary. I use mine with Dolby Atmos for Headphones all the time and it’s a nice, spacious, even sound that’s not too heavy or light in any area.

I’d strongly recommend getting a pair of these over a gamer headset, personally. And you can use the mic with that amazon deal or buy a V-MODA BoomPro which is what I did (for about $30). Either way, they just replace the cable between your headphones and controller and add a volume dial, mute switch, clip, and a flexible boom mic. They’re also HiRes headphones if you’re an audiophile and listen to larger bitrate quality music from services like Tidal or whatever. And with it coming from Amazon, they’re easy enough to return if you don’t love them. I realize I’m sounding like a commercial at this point, but they’re that good.

I wonder if the “tinny” issue is a RE8 Village issue or a Pulse 3D issue. I bought one and returned it a day later; finding it to be very plastic-y and it pinched my ears and was generally uncomfortable the longer you wore it, as well as being sort of run of the mill in terms of headphones. For $25~$50 more than the Pulse 3D, you can get a really good pair of headphones and add a V-MODA or Antlion mic to it for use as a gaming headset.

I’ve got the Fidelio X2/HRs which have an amazingly wide soundstage (they’re open back) and are the most comfortable pair I’ve ever worn. Paid $325 just two years ago and now you can sometimes get them as cheaply as $125 which is insane. Very natural 3D sound (especially in Returnal). They are wired though, so I can see that being a deal breaker for some. I just spent $400 on the Audeze Mobius wireless headset though and am almost pissed to say that the Fidelio still sound just as good. I was expecting these to blow them out of the water. Anyway, I’d be curious to know what you think of the Pulse 3D after a couple of days wearing them, and whether you find them to be comfortable.
