NTA- we had to switch our free fed chihuahua to bring schedule fed because our cat would eat any and everything left out. Consider a microchip bowl for your dog if he won’t take well to a schedule feeding or an auto feeder. Roommate should also consider a slow feeder to help prevent overeating.
