Im sorry, I have clearly upset you enough to downvote my post, I wasn’t trying to give you a hard time.

Without testing another PS2 mouse it would be hard to know id the problem is your mouse or PS2 port.

Here is an inexpensive PS2 mouse you can get on Amazon for less then $10:

If you can get that you can test the PS2 port at least.
