Oh wow this is actually helps a lot! The model you suggested looks good, but it’s for a desktop setup and so I’d actually prefer a wired one in this case. Anyhow, I did a bit more digging and found this $50 wired option, with the same low-profile keys. Not sure how to judge quality here, do you think it’d be good?

>mech boards on a budget
Funny story. I’ve used mechanical keyboards for years, first some old 102-key behemoth from the DIN-5 times, then a CM Quickfire Rapid, one of the early budget mechanicals.
But recently I’ve switched to one of these that I pulled out of a surplus bin for $5, and I’ve found that forearm pain that I barely recognized before has gone away. I think it’s because the extremely low height keeps my wrists from bending.
I was able to replicate the pain-free typing with a wrist rest in front of the Quickfire Rapid, but that took up so much space on my desk. If I ever decide to spend more money on keyboards, I think I might try something like this.
