Use a night/bite guard folks. Would highly recommend buying and using this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0170BHYGE/

I used to spend hundreds on getting custom fitted bite guards from dentists. The linked item performs as well, and you won’t cry if you lose it.

You may be grinding your teeth at night, anxiety can definitely cause that. Most people get a night guard made by their dentist to help with this. The jaw pain may be from inflammation in your jaw muscle due to the grinding. It can affect your entire head, and cause migraines. I purchased this mouth guard for my friend as temporary relief: Oral-B® Nighttime Dental Guard – Less Than 3-Minutes for Custom Teeth Grinding Protection with Scope Mint Flavor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0170BHYGE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EHThFbH5KM8FZ

He said it helped, but ultimately, it’s best to go to the dentist before the pain worsens. Good luck!

I have some similar issues (nail biting, skin picking, chewing on the inside of my cheeks) and I used to constantly lick my lips as a child to the point that I would have a red rash around my mouth all the time. I still haven’t completely solved all of them, but some things have helped me:

– I keep a fancy lip balm on me all the time and compulsively re-apply it. Having moisturized and smooth lips helps a lot. If you don’t want to be visibly wearing and re-applying lip balm during the day you can do a night lip mask (this one is great).

– I have clear plastic retainers and wear them as much as I can (helps that I usually wear a mask in public these days!) – they keep me from chewing the inside of my cheeks and biting my nails. If you don’t have retainers, a night guard like this that you can get at any drugstore and boil and mold to your teeth could help as a physical barrier. I don’t think you could wear one of these in public though because they affect the way you speak.

– I wear clear acne patches to keep myself from picking at little spots on my face and body (there are tons of options for patches like these). Usually I don’t like to wear these in public but I’m comfortable wearing them at home around roommates or under a mask.

– As a last resort, I sometimes wrap my fingertips in 3M surgical paper tape – this seems to be the only surgical tape which actually sticks to my fingers for a day at a time and can stand getting a bit of water on it without completely disintegrating or getting gross. This physical barrier helps with picking and nail biting.

– I also bought some fidget toys to try to help but so far I haven’t remembered to use them much.
