I was searching for a more rigid frame when we broke our first, this one is silent after being in use for just over a year now. It’s a bit stubborn to put the slats in, but totally worth it imo.

My son has 2 of these. One at home and one at college. No complaints. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Does not squeak.

I found a pdf on an obscure website – it appears to be a box spring that has actual springs in it. Meh, on that.
So, I really don’t want a box spring nor do I want to deal with the hassle and waste of buying a new mattress every 2 years. I’m a larger female, 5’6″ weighing 270 and sleep on my side and stomach. My boyfriend (who sleeps over 1-2 nights a week) is 5’10 and 175. I want him to be comfortable but it isn’t the primary concern since he isn’t here every night. That sounds mean. LOL
