Haha, thanks for the suggestion — I will see if I can find any in my area !

I totally get that — chairs are so highly personal. But, to be fair, this is the other chair I have been considering getting to have something decent, quick and cheap.. although I am sure the Herman Miller is much better quality wise.

Exactly, I had one of the shop stools from Western Tool and it always felt like it was gonna throw me plus there isn’t much seat to begin with. I got the below chair last year and it’s way more comfortable and much sturdier than my last one, downside is the price seems to have gone way up since then. https://www.amazon.com/Office-Star-Sculptured-Pneumatic-Adjustable/dp/B0039MIMRE

It was really easy in my state to apply for the placard. I did a search for “disability parking placard” and my state and found a two page form on our dept of public health website. I filled out one small section and my doctor another and I put it in the mail. Not sure how long it’ll take to come in, but it’ll be a big help, especially when I have to go to hospitals for tests.

We’re living on processed foods here too or things I can throw in the air fryer, instant pot, or crock pot. I did find that buying a rolling chair to use in the kitchen made a huge difference in how much I can get done though. I found this one that’s supposed to be used at a drafting table so it’s perfect for working at counter height.

For post covid clinics, definitely check out the SurvivorCorps website. I found my current one on there and several others I didn’t even know had opened.
