has anyone here used a whip maker or a face wash foamer? i’m interested in buying that one off amazon and using it with my cerave foaming or purpose cleanser but i was wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

That sounds good. Exfoliation depends on what type of toner you are using. There are pH Balancing Toners like Mizon AHA/BHA or Cosrx AHA/BHA toner that go before actives to lower the pH of the skin and make actives more effective. This is really important if your cleanser is not low pH. Here, we recommend cleanser that have a pH of 5.5, unfortunately most shaving creams are high pH because high pH cleansers make a lot of foam. One option is to use a lower pH cleanser with something like Nooni Whip Maker. Otherwise, if you toner is a hydrating toner that would go after exfoliating.

You would do this routine twice daily. Though you probably won’t do every step twice daily. I recommend if you are new to exfoliating active to start slow and only use it 1-2 days a week until you skin gets used to it to avoid over-exfoliation.
