What is the opinion of Reddit about the
Nixeus Moda Mechanical Switch, Soft Tactile Feedback Keyboard for Windows & Mac (MK-BN14)?

I have one of these with Kalih browns. I’d let it go for around $40 shipped. It’s been a good keyboard, but I switched back to a full size blue since I started telecommuting for work again and needed the number pad.

Hello! I just got a typing job with pay based on productivity and my K70 RGB is too special (and big) for work and I’m not too good with my K65 with Reds, so I’m looking for a compact blue/brown switch keyboard preferably around the $50-60 (or under) range. So far I have this Nixeus MODA in my sights. Any other recommendations? I’m looking to save as much money as possible without sacrificing too much quality, and I haven’t tried browns yet so I’d like something with those switches preferably (I do love Blues though). I live in the US.

sub to /r/buildapcsales and you can find a really great deal on a keyboard worth $90-$180, unfortunately won’t be $50 or under.

If $50 is your true pricepoint, you don’t have many options but I think the Nixeus Moda is your best bet

AULA Ghost or Nixeus MODA.

If you think you want a tactile feel, try the Nixeus Moda or else for linear switches, the Rapoo v500 is in the same price range. Even a white color option if you prefer and search for that.

Also check Massdrop for the Monoprice keyboard there, and if you have a little extra spending money, I’d recommend the Keycool 84 as well (if at lowest price, then ~$77. I just got one with blue switches and am using it at work 🙂

The two brown switch equivalents that a budget friendly are the Nixeus Moda and the Poseidon Z

I just assume you’d want browns in comparison to linear switches, but if you want the linear route try maybe the Rapoo V500
