This is an Amazon Canada link of what I bought last summer..I absurdly LOVE it…not the cheapest out there I’m sure but the quality is amazing!

It is mounted by clamping it to the monitor bracket on the bottom monitor. This is not the most stable situation but I haven’t had any issues at all with it. I don’t try to change it’s position and frankly don’t need to because it easily lights up the entire desktop.

I was also looking for overhead lighting and I couldn’t justify the price of a brand name screenbar and the off-brand one I ordered was in junk condition as cheap adhesive was peeling off some plastic protecting the wires. Though the lamp I chose is also not cheap, it requires its own power supply and therefore puts out a lot of clean white light as compared to other lights being USB powered (it’s also dimmable!).

As far as glare is concerned, there is an obvious glare in the immediate edge of the monitor directly underneath the lamp unless I angle it more towards the user. Besides this I don’t have any issues with glare and I really only have it turned on for work but not for gaming.

There is no shadow cast by my head onto the desktop until I start really leaning in!
