What is the opinion of Reddit about the

I like this one. It’s on my desk, has 4 brightness levels, and takes up just a little space. I’m able to swing it around and down so I can illuminate the poorly lit bed of my sewing machine. It’s gone up in price since I purchased it 2 years ago, but what hasn’t?

I wasn’t aware that existed, or at least hadn’t seen it in a long time. But, I’m looking for more like a task light that spreads over the whole desk (even if 2 are needed), which is why the play bars came to mind. I do have a Canon T3i I bought years ago that I started using. But I think the lighting is the most important part. I use this light I bought from amazon to paint with and take pictures. I think most modern phones have some contrast settings you can play with to achieve similar photos.

Absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for suggestions: To me the most important thing for painting is light. Before I had one of these I only painted faces and other key spots in daylight because my night jobs always came out looking wonky. This year I bought a Neatfi XL 2,200 Lumens LED Task Lamp and now I can paint at night! I think you might find that light from a wide arc rather than a single spot source helps eliminate physical shadows so that you can create your own using paint.

I used some crappy ones until finding this. This thing is absolutely awesome. I like having a ton of light when I tie because I feel like it helps me see some of the smaller details, and this was the brightest one I could find in this configuration. The brightness is also adjustable if you find it too bright. Also the arm allows you to really get it out of the way, and it easily adjusts in any way you could need.
