I double cleanse (forgot to indicate on my post) with DHC Cleansing oil and this cleanser.

But now that I looked it up, some people say it can be drying…

Any recommendations on a good facial wash (preferrable asian/brightening)?

**Product name:** Nameraka Honpo Sana Isoflavone Cleansing Foam Wash

**Product type:** Foaming cream cleanser

**Price (range):** $9.47 for 150g on Amazon

**Country of purchase:** First purchased this when I lived in Japan but now live in the US and have reordered it from Amazon twice

**Skin info:** oily/dry combo, sensitive (quick to redden, quick to dry out, quick to clog), fitzpatrick II

**Ingredient list:** Water, Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Diglycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lactobacillus/Soymilk Ferment Filtrate, Tocopherol, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein Extract

**Special info:** Oil free, scent free, SLS free, pH 7.5 according to one blog post I found, which is high? But it works for me?

**Experience & opinion:** I need a foaming cleanser because my skin is always a bit slick at the end of the day; but not one too harsh because I react easily to foaming agents and my skin dries out. I tried Cerave both foaming and hydrating, and a few other ScA recs before this, with “meh” results. I bought this at the same time as the wildly popular Senka Perfect Whip which smelled and broke me out immediately, but this bad boy is a dream! I use it with a cleansing net (another product from Japan I can’t live without now) and I only use less than a pea-sized amount each night. Because of that small amount of product, a tube of this stuff lasts 6+ months which is great for the cheapskate in me. The cleansing net creates a literal foam bomb, which I’m sure a lot of people in this sub are familiar with. I love it because I just pat the foam onto my face and massage ever so gently. I love the way my face feels after rinsing and patting dry. Even though I’m often tempted to drop $$$ on new products, I don’t think I will ever use another cleanser, it’s a true HG for me.
