A single axle trailer like that unloaded weighs about 700-800 lbs or so. If you need to be precise, you will have to weigh it. Though where I’m from they don’t seem to ask many questions when you register a trailer. I’ve always just given my best estimate, and never had an issue.

Edit: As a side note, I’ve always wondered for lighter trailers like this little guy, could you just get 3 heavy duty bathroom scales like this. Then put all three contact points (both wheels and the trailer jack) on their own scale and take the sum of the weights? Probably just a crazy idea and there is a reason no one does it … but it might be crazy enough to work if you’re desperate, or bored…

I have this one and like it. I bought it because of the large number of positive reviews. It’s sturdy and polite. It says “hello” and “goodbye”.

I have this one. The base is wider which is better for heavy people. It does stop on a number. It worked fine when I was up to 450 lbs.

How about getting two scales, standing with one foot on each, and adding the numbers together?

Edit: Well, I thought it was pretty genius.

Also, I found this, it goes up for 550lbs.
