Budget – Flexible 120 USD

Isolation – A little i guess, will be using in a home (tv usually on in the backround)
Public? – No
Preferred type – Honestly don’t know the difference. Whatever will feel and sound good on my big ass head.
Preferred tonal balance – I’d say fairly balanced but I also listen to mostly rap music, so a little bass boost I guess.
Past headphones – these I liked that they were comfortable and felt light on the head, wasn’t a fan of the exposed top plastic band that cracked really easily.
Preferred music – rap with bits of pop thrown in there. Kanye West, Frank Ocean, etc etc
Looking to improve – Get a stronger band that wont crack and wear down.

The Monoprice Hifi Headphones are possibly worth looking into. I’ve never listened to them myself, but I’ve been told the sound leads closer to neutral than bassy. They also don’t seem overly huge, but of course YMMV.
