living in this area i can say that noise cancelling headphones are your friend. easiest way to control what noises outside get into your ears. (& i’m discovering tv shows & movies are all the better when you can hear all the small details in the audio!).

& at night i often use sleep headphones with a white noise app drowning out all the late night junkies & party people who often make noise outside my house.
