Small $89 4″ mid bass driver Edifer R1280T are entry level and are often matched with the AT-LP60X to start with in a small room.

Better small 4″ powered speakers than the Edifiers are Jamo S 801 PM ~~$299~~ $149 on sale with Bluetooth.

If you must start lower cost then 4″ Microlab B77BT $49 or Microlab Pro1BT $79 and both have Bluetooth over the Edifiers or Edifier R1280DB have Bluetooth.

Then later upgrade to something better than the Edifiers such as a new or used stereo receiver and better larger new or used passive speakers.

What is a Craigslist or nearby zip code to search for possible used options for under $100?

For that low of a budget, Microlab Chairman B77BT for a small room. Better speakers will be a hundred or hundreds more.

I hope she spent more on the turntable?
