Hi friends! moving with my girlfriend to a big upgrade from our current place, but it leaves a lot to be desired. my parents were good at decorating, but i have a very different style and neither of them are in the picture, so i can’t ask them for advice.
both of us love black and our fashion styles are a little goth.
our bedding is currently black and we are planning on getting a white bedframe. i have my eye on a white/glass ikea desk but don’t know what kind of chair to get. i hate the sofa and am planning on getting a slipcover to match a grey chair we will be bringing (pretty much the only furniture we have). she has a 40” TV currently but wants to upgrade to a 55” within the next year, so preferably a TV console thing that would be suitable for either size. i wouldn’t mind some pops of color and wood texture/accents, and she has pretty much given me full liberty to decorate how i want.
budget is preferably under $1.5K not including bedframe/mattress. amazon would be preferred (neither of us like jeff but we’re college students and i have 5% cash back on amazon until september ish)
