There’s this set of speakers which work as you want and are small/portable; the speakers have to be within a range of 10 feet between each other, but your phone or music player can be up to 30 feet away.
I also found another pair, which costs a little more, but seems to have more and better reviews. However, keep in mind that the first set I linked above has 10 hours of battery life, where as this one only has 4.
