Alright, just wanted to know if I didn’t know what I was missing. This is what I’m leaning towards:
·
I have had amazing results with this LEQ Mechanical Keyboard from amazon, but I am by no means an aficionado.

So, I am thinking of dipping my toe in mechanical keyboards, as both my laptop and desktop cheap-o keyboards suck, and strain my wrists.
I am in the US, and I am a bit on a budget. I am looking at amazon (things like this or this). I am looking for a simple design and don’t care about the backlight and other “pro-gaming” features. I just need a decent keyboard for typing (writing and coding). Would like to go with a smaller size (tenkeyless perhaps), but I am open to anything with arrow keys, up to full-size.
My biggest question is can I change keys on those cheaper mechanical keyboards? They technically have cherry MX (mostly blue) switches, so I think I can just get cherryMX keysets and they will fit. Right?
I tried looking through wiki, but its feels pretty byzantine and not very newbie friendly.
