You can plug a piezo speaker into the space on the front panel header for it, which will give you the AMI beep codes if there are any errors. It’s not as detailed as the debug display, but it will still tell you which step in the process things stall on if that were to happen.

This is in the US, but I’m assuming you’re not, given my previous statement on availability of these boards, but it will show you what you need and you can find one locally if you want to grab one. They’re cheap.

If there’s no onboard speaker you could try hooking up one of these or something similar. Then you might get a beep code that will hopefully steer you one way another.

Your board could be dead. Does it power up at all? Do the fans spin? I suspect that the 4-pin EPS power is totally fine but there’s a different problem.

Replacing the coin battery should have also cleared the CMOS, so you’re good to go there.

Any beeps? If there isn’t an onboard PC speaker you can try hooking one up. Like this or something similar.

Which motherboard is it? Does it have any diagnostic LEDs indicating if components like CPU/RAM are good? I don’t think most motherboards have onboard speakers. You need to connect one if you need that to the Speaker connector/header.

You will need a speaker/buzzer like this one – https://www.amazon.com/Maxmoral-Internal-Computer-Motherboard-Mainboard/dp/B07Q81VG54/.

Many motherboards used to have a little speaker onboard, but more often than not these days I’ve had to install one of these or something similar to get beeps.
