Benches can vary in price quite a bit, the high quality ones get pretty expensive and are hard to find during the pandemic(at least where I’m from). Usually the higher the price the more sturdy and higher weight limit it has. The first one I bought early on in the pandemic had a weight limit of like 300lbs and was under 200$. That was on Amazon.

I’m Canadian but I’m sure if this isn’t available you could find something similar.

The bench is great for the price. Easily able to support a bench press and can be configured for incline and decline. Adjusting it is a little be of a pain since you have to take out hitch pins. The bench is also a touch wobbly, you can tell they lefts material off to lower the price.
Definitely recommend it as a starter bench – but I will eventually be upgrading to something a little more heavy duty.

Been getting really desperate to bench…I was thinking of just yoloing and buying this cheap thing off amazon. It’s rated 500 lb, which means I should be able to bench at least 250 fairly comfortably as a 200 lb person, but I’m wondering if y’all think it’ll really live up to that specification.
