I have my Shure SM7B running through this M-Audio Audio Interface will getting Apogee Duet make a huge difference in the sound I’m getting? I’ve been told yes but just wanted to see if it’s worth the 600$… I’ll have to do it in payments lol

I used an MXL 990 for the video. It was recorded on a friends mac using pro logic 9, although I did the editing on my PC. I used a fairly cheap (but not terrible) pop filter. You can check out the mic I used at this link. (I didn’t use the MXL 991 in my video, but I plan on using it for the next one.) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-a…ophone-package

You will also need an external soundcard/amp to plug the mic into, and I have my current amp plugged in through FireWire. if you don’t have FireWire ports there are other ways to get it/you can always buy a FireWire port hub. This is the amp I’m currently using.

The mics are cheap, but they are pretty decent quality especially for the price.
