I didn’t feel like the Brentwood home organic cotton waterproof mattress protector made my mattress that hot. Also I have this one from Amazon and don’t notice much heat from it either – uses the same waterproof material that cloth diapers for babies use. I’ve been using one from Luna that I bought via Amazon, 100% waterproof, breathable, 10 year warranty, protects against dust mites and all that, has a terry cloth type top on it that makes it ‘noiseless’, and MADE IN USA. $30 for a twin size. I’ve had mine for 4+ years now with no issues, and you can’t tell its there.
