How do you guys feel about this product? The ingredient list can be found when you scroll down a bit. I’m looking to add an affordable vitamin C (and preferably hyaluronic acid as well!) serum to my routine, and this is about $19 at a department store near me. It’s been hell to find any similar affordable products that are less than $20 including shipping to EU, but I’m definitely taking recommendations.

I have acne-prone combination skin that’s sometimes a bit dehydrated (most of it due to BP, though). I can post my routine as well, but it’s mostly this: gentle cleanser, red Stridex every other day and Nivea Daily Essentials Sensitive Day Care both in the AM & PM. I discontinued BP use a bit over a week ago because I feel like it did more harm than good.

I don’t have much experience with vitamin C, the only other I’ve tried is this Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence, which had a fantastic consistency, but no results for me.

I could see why reviews are mixed for this one. Admittedly, the consistency is really weird – I prefer more watery products, this is like a lotion with tiny balls in it. Not microbeads, just spheres of hyaluronic acid. It doesn’t absorb quickly on my skin and feels greasy, so I put it on at night. My guess is it could cause breakouts for different skin types. However, I do see good results from it, so heck yeah I’m gonna use it for $6. Especially since I’ve got to drop $30 for each new bottle of the PC BHA, sadly Stridex red box is too drying for my skin!

The Ordinary used to sell the vit C in a bottle with an eye dropper, which honestly made NO sense, but they’ve change the packaging to a tube due to feedback.
