I already had a waterproof mattress cover on our bed, which I guess I always thought you need just for life, since like bodily fluids can and do happen in bed haha. I never thought about especially needing it for pregnancy or baby times, but that makes sense to me. We have this one on two different beds and like it, it’s not stiff or noisy and is pretty inexpensive.
