You know those arestill for sale on Amazon, right?

Now if they’d taken a sander to an IBM Model M, the pitchfork and torch mob would already be at the gates.

A nice like $10 mini-keyboard off of Amazon or something would probably make things a lot simpler and easier for them, too. Maybe with a long USB extension cord.

I have the wireless version of this: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-002478-K120-USB-Keyboard/dp/B003ELVLKU

I’ve had it for years. It’s actually been really good, especially factoring in the price. The keyboard has feet that you can collapse. If you collapse the feet, which I do, it has no tilt. It’s entirely flat.

I agree with what you noted about most wireless keyboards come with a tilt that you can’t remove. Tbh, I want to upgrade to MX Keys or a mechanical keyboard, but I haven’t for this reason. I want a keyboard that has no tilt.

A cheap Logitech keyboard is what you’re looking for. I use a pair of K120s at work and they’ve held up better than anything else over the last two years and at $12 each you can’t really beat that price. They work great and are very robust. I even spilled coffee on one of them and it still works fine – the enter key sticks a little, but other than that 100% okay.

They won’t be flashy or have a fantastic mechanical feel, but they’ll last a long time.

We give these to everyone at work who doesn’t request a nicer board.

I think anyone who cares about their typing experience should buy a mech for sure. You can get a board that will last a very long time for $70ish (CM Storms usually). But I think in the long-run, if you just want to be frugal, it’s not worth buying one just for “BIFL”.

heh, my favorite i don’t give a flying fuck keyboard is logitech K120

it’s nice enough and i have seen it sell for 9€ here.

literally just get a new one if you spill something on it. (you can clean it) but why would you bother.

https://www.amazon.com/Generic-920-002478-Logitech-Keyboard-K120/dp/B003ELVLKU
also way way too expensive, just first that came up.

At that price basically just pick up some 5 buck keyboard at goodwill (I dont know if there is goodwill in Austria) and save your money until you can afford a better one. Otherwise my dad uses this at his work and he likes it alot: link

Its nothing special but its a decent priced keyboard and should hold you over until you can get a nicer one.

Just to confirm, sometimes in these games when you turn on controller support in a game, it disabled the keyboard input, for whatever reason. You checked for that, right?

Also, does the issue occur with a different keyboard? Go get a cheap logitech one from staples or whatever. A no frills wired keyboard, and then see if the issue reoccurs.

It’s not that bad, but I don’t really have anything to compare it too. I am sure my keyboard is waaaaaaay worse than gaming keyboards but since it doesn’t bother me then I am not considering on upgrading lol This is my backup pos2

Get the logitech k120 keyboard. Jump att works on it, but doesn’t work on my mechanical gaming keyboard. No clue why. its only $15. And i have tried multiple different keyboards, this one has worked for me on 3 seperate computers.

I first thought that keyboard was some sort of modded thing, purposely designed to look like it was pulled from a fire.

Amazon sells new Logitech keyboards for less than $10. Even the Amazon wired brand is only $11.

I’m honestly baffled that people don’t regularly replace their keyboards and let them get as bad as /u/cazz_kahn does. I can’t help but think that this K65RGB keyboard is going to look like his old keyboard after only a couple of months.

Dayum OP, thanks for this giveaway ! This account is 24 days old and has 3012 karma overall (2785 link karma), but I’m also /u/troubleshinda . I forgot the password and never set an email adress.. and got shadowbanned out of nowhere :'(

Anyway, my current keyboard is a Logitech K120 . It’s not atrocious, but I already tried one mechanical keyboard and the feeling when I came back home and touched my keyboard was.. shudders

I’ve wanted a mechanical keyboard for a long time now but it’s way out of my budget, so I hope this is my luck day 🙂

And of course I want a new one because of the feeling when you type, the feeling when you move in CS:GO and the unique sound of MX switchs 😀

Get this until you have a budget that’s a little less tight, take the money saved and spend it elsewhere, like a better mouse.

Keyboards don’t matter much at all until you switch to mechanical. Even then the difference is only noticeable and worth it if you are playing in league’s or competitive.

Logitech Keyboard K120 $12 paired with ROCCAT lua $40 both from amazon

total = $52 + tax / free amazon shipping

Logitech Keyboard K120 $13 paired with ROCCAT Kone Pure Military $39 both from newegg

total = $52 + tax + newegg shipping → might end up being ~$70 but the mouse has a newer (better?) sensor than the lua.

This is my standard keyboard, I don’t use mechanical unless that counts as one. The feedback off a standard is slightly better for me.

How is this G105 keyboard? I have the K120 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ELVLKU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-VUKzbJ8XERCY) and am pretty unhappy with how small it is, and how shallow the keys are.

One of the most comfortable keyboards I’ve used is the simple Logitech K120 that was a desperate purchase at my local staples when my previous keyboard died. I have pretty tiny hands and find that the height of the keys and how close they are together make it easy for me to reach all of my keybinds in games. I’ve tried my boyfriend’s larger Black Widow and it honestly is a jumbled mess when I try to use it.

The only issue with my keyboard is that it’s not backlit, which is incredibly annoying when playing in the dark and trying to type to others in-game.

After being burned by buying a cheap similar backlit keyboard from China that was DOA, I’ve decided to pony up a bit extra for something with a good brand and warranty to go along with my new build.

During the memorial day sales, I had my eyes on the Logitech G213, but I fear that those keys may still be a bit too high for me.

I’m also looking at the Razer Ornata which seems like it would be perfect, if not for the shame of not having a USB passthrough or side macro buttons at that price point.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good mid-profile RGB keyboard? Note that I don’t want flat keys that you would find on a laptop.

I always suggest Logitech K120 or looking for even a used Dell Multimedia Keyboard. Both should be <$20 and last forever.

Dissenting opinion: I’ve tried gaming keyboards, and didn’t find them meaningfully better than my $10 Logitech K120, which I love.

Phew good question. If you want a high-quality mouse that’s big and heavy that’s usually about $50.

So with that budget you simply buy what you can afford. For example this keyboard and this mouse

Not a mac owner so I’m not sure. What is so special about the mac keyboard that you can’t get a regular USB keyboard?

All of your shortcuts should work

I’ve gone through 5 of these because I’m a careless bastard and it doesn’t get cranky with crouch jumps. Low-end wireless keyboards are a little jankier with allowing multiple key-presses, which isn’t a pubg-specific problem.
