For the gym, I would recommend a decently reviewed leather lever belt. I just got this one from Amazon, and it has held up well.

If you compete, you’ll need to get a belt approved by that federation.

“Hawk Powerlifting Belt is IPF legal” is what they claim on Amazon.
I suspect that what they mean is “We’ve created a clone of an Inzer belt and intentionally removed all branding so anyone who rushes through an equipment check will simply assume this is an Inzer product and therefore IPF legal.”

It sounds like you prioritize compounds like the squat, bench and deadlift so a decent belt will make a noticeable difference. The belt you chose is okay and surely won’t cause any harm, but there are better ones out there for that price.
