I use this one with my 25″ Dasung

https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B08P8KSS11

It works great (even better than with 13″ Dasung) quiet evenly.

It has both white and warm light.

>u also have the Dasung, right? Do you find reading on the Q5 to be harder than on Dasung (frontlight off) ? I’m referring strictly to the screen – contrast, sharpness, matteness.

With no frontlight, Dasung is whiter than the Q5.
Q5 is like a grey mirror. Without something like that: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08P8KSS11/

you won’t do much.

I understand you well, I had to quit my software career because of screen.

I think that they are complete opposite: Dasung is “slow”, lack shade of grey, ghosting …. but white is pretty white, contrast ok, and Q5 is super fast, unlimited shade of grey, no ghosting, just like a LCD but lot of reflection, poor contrast (without lamp shining into it).

Also for me 10″ is too small to use.

Hi, I just receive mine a few days ago.

Light:

For the lighting of the screen, I use the same lamp as the one I use for the paperlike 13″.

I can say that it performs way better on the 25″ Dasung.

Here is a link to it: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B08P8KSS11/

Stand:

Do you use the Dasung stand? I find it extremely well built and solid.

The only downdside that I have is that you can’t get the monitor very low. The bottom of the monitor is 9.6cm (3.7 inch) + the big bezel from the desk. It makes me look straight and a little up if I look the top of the screen. I’m used to look slightly down (I have less eyes and neck pain by doing that).

So I’m looking for a new stand, it’s unfortunate because except for this problem, it’s a very good one.

Text quality:

I don’t know if you are on Windows, but with Windows ClearType you can see that the text is not crisp as on this picture: https://imgur.com/a/hcxTRGz

You can see how do desactivate here: https://www.reddit.com/r/eink/comments/mezj31/dasung\_paperlike\_text\_is\_not\_crisp/

Scaling:

At which scaling % do you use the monitor? 200%? I personnaly do at 225% on Windows

Misc:

I do not use the high contrast mode on Windows, because I notice on some website, some green color for example are missing and not shown.

What is the best settings to lower ghosting? I find the ghosting to be way higher than on the paperlike 13″, this is the only downside I have for now with this monitor.

Which EIZO monitor are you refering to?

Thank you

You can check here SAKDOSS using it https://www.reddit.com/r/eink/comments/m5i1d1/i_tried_something_this_morning/

There is also a youtube video of it in this thread.

He says that it’s not very uniform, the top of the screen getting more “light/bright” than the bottom.

I personally use this : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08P8KSS11/

I doesn’t take space on the desk, and you can oriented it the way you want.
