I use it to do my makeup at 5am when it’s still dark. I have the light bar pointed at my face from about 2ft away and use it at medium intensity, if I had more counter space I’d get a second lamp so I could have them at each side in front of me. I can’t control the color temperature with this but I never felt the need to since it’s white light and it gives a pretty accurate representation of what colors look like in daylight.
